I love the black country museum! I was born and raised in the local area so I've been many times throughout my life. Each time it gets better and I seem to find something new each and every time. The neighbourhood that the museum presents is very different to today. Many of the buildings have been moved brick by brick from other parts of the black country to the museum. These buildings on their own give a unique story. Each building that we walked into, a member of staff was there. They played a character, presented a story and were true experts on the subject. I highly recommend the black country museum!!!
Fantastic day out. Ideal for all the family. So much to see and do. Brilliant if your a Peaky Blinders fan as lots of links to this. Definitely recommend. Pay once and get a return ticket too!!
Amazing attraction that really brings the Victorian era to life. There is so much to do here and the fish & chips are unbelievable! The sweet shop is worth a visit to and the glass blowing. You can't get your head around the mine genuinely thought provoking.
We really enjoyed our day here. Have been waiting a long time to go. Gives a real insight into lives of people in the eras portrayed there. Very informative staff in the various buildings with not only history, but the real life people who previously owned the properties.
An amazing place, well worth a visit. You get a years entry with every ticket, which is handy because there is a lot to see.The buildings are all amazing and look how you'd imagine them to back in the era.I love how the pub and chippy were both open for business too.The tour in the mine was really interesting too. Quite well done and makes you think how lucky you are to not work down there.Couldn't visit the canal or docks as they were filming for Peaky Blinders I think, but still saw so much.Highly recommended this place.
