Great day out. Lots more than just the well kept animals.. Places to eat and a fun fair to. There is a land train to take you from bottom to top and back again
Superb family day out. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff and a good array of animals to look at.
I had a great day out here with my family. It's nice walking around and looking at the animals and it's nice to be able to go and see the castle. If you have difficulty with hills/steps be careful due to this being on a hill (and the castle has a narrow staircase if you choose to go to the top).
Wonderful day out with the children. For little ones and disabled may be worth using a scooter/wheelchair or pushchair as built on a hill can get very tiring quickly. Amazing views from top of the castle, brilliant history and large variety of animals on offer. Have also been at night with paranormal investigation group and found night time view at top to be amazing!
Amazing! They have done so much work and are still improving. It is now a very beautiful place. The animals and their enclosures are cared for very well. Definitely recommend a visit!
