Architecture, history, animals and fun. Lots if free shows once you are inside. Hilly but there is a land train. Lots if toilets so family friendly over whole site. A good zoo that is doing good conservation work.

Today was the first time I have visited Dudley Zoo. First impression was it is a very old and tired place. However, the animals seem healthy and cleaned out. I was there to photograph captive animals for my camera club and spent an enjoyable 5 hours taking some interesting photos. Not sure if I would ever return.

Enjoyed our visit between Christmas and New Year. Although some attractions were closed for winter there was still plenty to see. The animals are well cared for and the facilities are good. A ticket for free return by July is very welcome.

Absolutely great day out! Loved getting to see so many beautiful animals. All looking healthy and happy with reasonably large enclosures for most of the animals to enjoy themselves. If you love mobiles you will be in heaven, such a wide range and sheer amount of monkeys to see. Recommend visiting to anyone who hasnt been yet. Dudley zoo definitely impressed me much more than last time I went to Chester zoo many years ago.

Enjoyed my visit today, great price considering everything on offer. Friendly staff members who are approachable and knowledgeable. Friendly staff in the main cafe and restaurant. Good food reasonably priced, our fish was fried perfectly thank you. Loved the animals especially the birds. The closest Ive ever seen a Tiger and a wonderful unexpected encounter. It was quite unnerving and amazing all at once! Great photography opportunities here, a photographers delight. The animals are beautiful and well catered to, credit to the zoo staff. I particularly enjoyed the knowledgeable staff member who filled us in on the history of the imposing brooding castle. I could have stayed all day looking out over the fabulous views. I highly recommend you visit Dudley Zoo.
