This Nature Reserve is a beautiful local green space. I really enjoy visiting the SSSI geological sites on the reserve. They tell a really important story of the Geology of the local area and the world.
Very quiet and scenic, lots of trails to follow as well as unofficial paths, my kids love exploring the place. Lots to see, we find something new on each visit.

It's a beautiful place to walk and children like to explore and look at the sculptures dotted around. You could be a million miles from merry hill etc it's so peaceful. Please do not let them build house's on there!!! Sign the petition gov/org/ sandwell
Excellent place to visit a little oasis in the middle of busy built up area. A lovely place to take children to learn about nature and the various species of wildlife also it's an great place to walk your dog. Definitely worth a visit !
