Nice place to go walking. Relatively clean.
Very nice scenic location worth visiting in the summer
Lovely place. Good walk down the canals and you can see the mooring of all the narrow boats. Good place to take the kids and the dog.
Nice and quiet with the occasional polite dog walkers although some dogs are not on leads. The wild geese along the canal, polite boat owners and horses to the North West are a pleasant experience. I noticed the grass is cut regularly and minor amounts of litter was observed. The occasional kids on dirt bikes can be an annoyance and startling to the wild ducks/geese, otherwise 5 stars.
I love this little Nature Reserve. Lovely walks around the pools, which you can also fish in, and along the canal. Lots of peace and plenty nature to be seen, if you are lucky you may spot heron or a buzzard overhead. Popular with dog walkers there is also a small cafe/visitors centre run by volunteers where you can sit outside by the canal side and enjoy a cuppa or an ice cream.
