This used to be a brilliant surgery know its 4 weeks for an appointment attitude is appalling. Surely a surgery should only have a maximum amount of patients so they can have appointments when they are required.
Standards have dropped. What was once a very helpful and friendly surgery, has now turned in to one of the worst surgeries in Dudley. The receptionists there are about as much use as a chocolate fireguard. All of them have a different story to the other one, they can't even lie straight. The new manager is rude. There is zero patient care, from a surgery what used to be so flexible! Me and my family will be moving to another surgery, what offers better customer care.
This used to be the best surgery. Now it is the worst place for patient care. With receptionists that lie to patients or make things up to get rid of you.I walked out in tears last week and went to another surgery. Will not be going back again.
Had 2 very bad experiences with this GP within few months. 1. Went on camping holiday in August and my son suffered bad asthma from the field next to the camp. Unfortunately, we didnt have my sons inhaler with us. After calling the near by walk in centre, we were advised because we have repeat prescriptions for my sons inhaler, we could just go to Boots and asked for the electronic prescription from our GP. However, the staff from Castle Meadows refused to send over the electronic prescription and insisted that we need to go to walk in centre. The chemist from Boots was very helpful and argued over the phone with the staff in Castle Meadows that my son was suffering and he needed his inhaler. After over 30 minutes phone call conversation between the chemist in Boots and Castle Meadows, Castle Meadow finally agreed that Boots needed to write a letter why my son needed the inhaler and sent over the letter by fax!!!! Castle Meadows insisted that it had to be a fax not email!!! After 4 hours of waiting, we finally got the inhaler. 2. Tried to ask for a phone call from dr and hope that a dr could convince my husband to find help for his health issue. Was told that no dr was available to make the phone call and told me to go to walk in centre. Even after explaining to them that my husband is not facing his issue and hope a dr from GP could give him a call to convince him to get some help. Still got told that to tell my husband to go to walk in centre!!!!!! Obviously, they dont care about their patients safety and health even after I explained to the reception staff the situation (apparently they also spoke to dr on duty) that my husband is not dealing with his health issue and all I was asking was a 5-minute phone call from a GP to talk to my husband!!!
Not sure whats happened to the surgery since Dr Rathore went, but cant get an appointment, called all day, with the phone ringing out for anything from 15-45mins!? To be told i cant get a telephone appointment for a week to discuss scan results??Drs at the surgery can be very good, but if you cant even contact them to make an appointment whats the point! This isnt an isolated incident and is becoming the norm, iv been with the surgery for 30years+ and is getting progressively worse, itspast a joke
